As not all our rooms are yet ready to reopen with the level of comfort that defines us, we sincerely apologize to all guests for whom we had to cancel or modify reservations, and we hope to welcome you very soon.

During your walk, stop off at the workshop of the Saint-Amour jam factory, one of the town's local artisanal businesses. With its jams, jellies, vinegars and skincare products, the company concocts tasty treats based on Ardennes plants and fruit.

A family afternoon in Adventure Valley

Weather not cooperating? Head to Adventure Valley and discover its wide range of indoor activities, just 10 minutes from the historic city centre.

You could, for example, let yourself be tempted by one of the park's escape rooms and experience an exciting adventure where solving riddles is the key to escape. It's the perfect activity for families who like a challenge.

In the evening, enjoy a tasty meal at La Fabrique restaurant, an establishment entirely dedicated to families. Every day from 6pm, when most of the activities close, the indoor park restaurant stays open. But that's not all! The indoor playground also remains accessible, free of charge for children who come to eat at La Fabrique.

The village of Wéris and its House of Megaliths

Did you know that ancient stones, dolmens and menhirs are hidden right in the heart of the commune of Durbuy? In Wéris, a charming little village and one of the "Most Beautiful Villages in Wallonia", you can discover a fascinating prehistoric site: a megalithic field more than 8 km long. According to current research, it comprises two "covered alley" type dolmens with associated menhirs, as well as six sites consisting solely of menhirs.

For the rest of your visit, head to the Musée des Mégalithes de Wéris, a wonderful discovery for all the family. It plunges you into the civilisation of the dolmen builders, the Neolithic period, and takes you on a discovery of the secrets of the megalithic site.

A bike ride around Durbuy along the Ourthe river

It's no secret that the Ardennes has a lot to offer. Especially for cycling fans! Make the most of the fine autumn days to (re)discover the Belgian Ardennes on a family mountain bike ride through the small villages of the Calestienne, rich in architectural and natural heritage. 

Starting from the historic centre of Durbuy, you can take one of the many trails suitable for mountain bikes and VTCs. If you're cycling with younger children, we recommend a ride along the banks of the Ourthe. The circuit is more regular and constantly evolves along the Ourthe (concrete or tarmac) on the RAVeL.

For more information, go to the town's tourist office and pick up one of the detailed maps showing over 175 km of mountain bike trails and 350 km of network of junctions.

Pheasant, wild boar, doe, hare or roe deer, autumn is the season for game! The freedom and natural diet of these animals give their meat an unrivalled flavour and freshness that is much appreciated by gourmets.

This autumn, the mysteries of Halloween are coming to Durbuy for a 4th edition. As night falls, prepare to be bewitched by a fantastic and terrifying spectacle as you take an illuminated walk through the dense woods of Adventure Valley Durbuy.

From 11 October to 2 November 2024, you won't just hear the cries of the daredevils on the ropes course, but also those of the curious who venture into the "Mysterious Forest". Immerse yourself in the magical world of Halloween and discover some surprising and frightening scenes. As soon as night falls, the floodlights come on to reveal breathtaking audiovisual shows suitable for all the family. But will you be brave enough to cross the boundaries of the trail and take on Durbuy's most mysterious adventure?
